Lyle Lovett

Tonight’s artist began his career in music as a songwriter but soon signed a record contract and has been performing ever since.

Having released thirteen albums as well as wining four Grammy awards he has also appeared in a number of movies and TV shows and recorded music for other film projects.

With a honey smooth voice, thoughtful lyrics and fine guitar playing he can weave a spell over you as he plies his heartfelt melodies.

I bring you - King of the Mile-high Pompadour - Lyle Lovett!

(I really like this guy!)

Trey Anastasio

Lead guitarist and vocalist for 20 years with the band Phish, Trey Anastasio also headed up Oysterhead with Stewart Copeland of the Police on drums and Les Claypool of Primus on bass during a break from Phish.

Since the dissolution of Phish Trey has done some solo work and performed with several other backup bands.

Tonight I bring you a sampling of Trey’s works over the years including a number of guest performances with other well known musicians.

Badfinger

Originally signed by the Beatle’s Apple Records under the name of the Iveys, tonight’s band was a little gem of the 60’s and early 70’s. Often compared to the Beatles they nonetheless had trouble finding a large audience. Internal strife and suicides eventually took their toll.

Tonight I bring you Badfinger featuring video research and playlist editing by none other than Big Dan – the epitome of a true Badfinger fan.

NEW: In this revived edition I have added a documentary on the band at the end of the show.
